Medical Exchange & Discovery (MED) Program

VIA's Medical Exchange and Discovery (MED) program brings together students from top medical schools in mainland China, Japan, and Taiwan and from Stanford/UCSF to share information about their educations systems and challenges to their home health care system, and discover the best aspects of health care delivery in the U.S. and Asia to improve their ability to serve future patients.

Stanford and UCSF students help design and lead program activities. After the program ends, Stanford and UCSF students have the opportunity to travel to Asia to learn about health care and connect with program friends.

The 2013 program is held during August 4 - 24. The calendar will be available in late June.
