Opportunities for Bay Area Students StudentsFor more than 30 years, VIA has provided students from Stanford, UC San Francisco, and UC Berkeley the unique opportunity to lead cross-cultural programs for Asian university students during spring and summer break. Working in teams, Stanford, UCSF, and UCB students design programs that explore the Bay Area. After the program, Bay Area students receive a stipend towards a trip to Asia to continue the exchange.
