1-2 year Volunteer Opportunities in Myanmar

VIA currently offers a small number of long-term volunteer positions in Myanmar. As with other VIA volunteer opportunities, these positions are selected to provide the volunteer with first-hand knowledge of life in Myanmar, while providing our partner institutions support in serving local populations. Volunteers perform English Teaching and/or English Resource work with schools and local agencies in Myanmar.

VIA will have between two to four posts in Yangon (Rangoon) in 2010-11. VIA is presently working to develop additional Myanmar posts, and details will be posted on this page as opportunities are confirmed.
