Alumni Writing Submissions

We've noticed over the years that VIA tends to attract creative, thoughtful people to our programs. Add tons of time to mull around in Asia, and a variety of seemingly-odd circumstances our vols find themselves in, and what do we get? Journal entries!

This is a space for current vols and alumni to share their creative side by posting essays, articles, travelogs, research, or poetry (or any other kind of writing). We encourage you to submit some of your more entertaining or interesting pieces that pertain to your work in Asia, your time as a vol, or the impact your experience at VIA has had on your life, relationships, or work.

These pieces will not be edited by VIA staff, but will be reviewed for content. While we encourage creativity and support free speech, we will not hesitate to remove pieces that promote hatred, racism, violence, or intolerance. We encourage all of you to copyright your work for free using Creative Commons, which can be found at www.creativecommons.org.
